Over the past few years, our Talent Development Team has evolved from just a support function to a business-critical function woven into Unit strategy & operations with Purpose driven initiatives to accelerate role & career progression, fuel growth & transformation initiatives while

The team is reskilling internal talent pool of more than 480k associates as one of the top priorities in TCS including senior exec’s like the CEO. TCS has no legacy people, only legacy technologies.

•Metrics which reflect that TCS TD has set the benchmark beyond the barometer: Average of ~96 hours per associate , 32K+ Trainees onboarded virtually in India with 77% ready for deployment. 2K+ Freshers on-boarded in North America. Highest ever Associate Satisfaction Index growth. And 17 External Awards for Talent Development Gorup.
•Pro-active Talent Planning in collaboration with resourcing teams has led to closure of more than 20% of staffing positions internally, reducing cost of hiring and time to deployment.
•Direct Effect of Training on business with results in savings, reduction in onboarding time of new client, infrastructure cost, response time for a improvement in Time-to-Market.
•Highest ever Fulfilment of demand has been achieved through Technology Upskilling alone giving confidence to business that internal associates can be used to fulfill demand even for Niche Skills instead of hiring associates externally.
