Founded in 2014, Fountain initially made an impact in the gig economy by being the go-to source for hiring high volume hourly workers. Initially built for speed and scale, Fountain was designed specifically to help address the challenges around high volume, high velocity, hourly recruiting within retail, delivery, food/beverage, manufacturing, and hospitality. With a core mission to create opportunities for the global workforce, Fountain is determined to create a world that works for all.

In 2020, under the guidance of new CEO, Sean Behr, Fountain strategically set forth to enhance their product to meet the growing needs of the enterprise buyer. In a series of software releases, Fountain launched a new suite of features to attract and engage more applicants with live and on-demand video interviews, a universal talent view, recruiting chatbot, branded career sites, advanced resume parsing, a new mobile app, WhatsApp integration and geolocation routing. Additionally, Fountain launched a robust layer of security and agility features with single sign-on, multi-cloud hosting and became SOC 2, Type II certified which allows enterprise organizations to establish resilient performance and global coverage while mitigating risk. Finally, Fountain launched their new embedded analytics feature that empowers business leaders to gain a better understanding of the candidate journey and make data-driven decisions. Users are able to drill into top-line numbers, customize filters, export, send, and schedule the distribution of pre-built reports to analyze candidate behavior and identify trends based on brand, location, stage, and more all on their own in a self-serve reporting tab within the core platform.

All of these product updates highlight Fountain's all-in-one capabilities and further commitment to simplicity with flexibility, efficiency, and speed that hiring managers need to succeed in a high volume recruitment environment. While other platforms claim to be able to do high-volume hiring at scale, Fountain is the only platform that was built specifically to handle high volume recruitment of the hourly workforce. One example is Fountain is the only platform that allows recruiters to customize each workflow by requisition via a drag and drop model. (while there are 2 other providers that offer a drag and drop model, neither of them do it by requisition). Another example is that Fountain is the only platform with domestic SMS free of charge built-into our platform. Finally, our analytics are state of the art, with the ability to drill-down into the data, all the way to the individual applicant and see where they are in the pipeline is unprecedented in other ATS providers.
