Enerjisa has initiated the Strengthening of Vocational Education Project and assumed responsibility for the technical education of the students of vocational high schools and universities, which are the future of the electricity distribution sector.
Besides stablishing fully equipped technical training centers in the 3 main operatonal regions within the scope of the Strengthening of Vocational Education Project, Enerjisa launched the Mobile Training Center for employees and potential youth who are deprived of development opportunities due to difficulties in reaching these central points.
The Mobile Training Center is a training truck that has all the technical equipment that Enerjisa can provide applied training on electricity distribution, and that can provide training regardless of time and place with mobile stations.
With the Mobile Training Center, which was developed with Enerjisa's vision to add value to Turkey and is a first in the sector, it is aimed to raise the education level of the workforce for the distribution sector and to support young labor force. In the Mobile Training Center, trainings are provided by Enerjisa engineers for Vocational High School and University students and teachers, who are the employees of the future energy-electricity sector.
The Mobile Education Center has different target audiences:
-Enerjisa Employees working in locations where there is no technical training center
-Vocational high school students and teachers, critical workforce of the distribution sector
-University Students studying at universities in fields related to the Electricity Distribution sector
Equal Opportunity in Technical Education in the Sector:
The project aims to provide qualified workforce for entire Electricity Distribution sector. With the slogan "We are transforming Turkey's roads into schools", the Mobile Education Center takes vocational education out of the classroom. Enerjisa aims to both use its facilities for the benefit of the public and contribute to the training of the qualified workforce that the industry needs.
Education Opportunity with the Latest Technological Systems:
The Mobile Training Center also includes the most up-to-date and technological systems used in the distribution sector and provides the opportunity to provide all theoretical and applied technical trainings by equipping it with real equipment used in the field and simulating the energy flow in a safe environment.
Setting an Example for Environmental Awareness by Producing Its Own Energy:
One of the most outstanding features of Mobile Training Center is that it sets an example in environmental awareness by producing the electricity it will need with its photovoltaic solar energy panels and wind turbine.
It has a renewable electricity generation capacity of 3 kW in total, including 1.5 kW solar energy panels and 1.5 kW wind turbines. Mobile Training Center with 48 V 1000 Ah battery group as storage; Its load of 3kW (the load that a middle-income household will draw at dinner time) has the capacity to energize for approximately 15 hours. In addition, electrical energy to be used in the Mobile Training Center can be provided with 220 V mains voltage from outside.
With the Mobile Training Center, 575 Enerjisa employees and 2395 students were trained by going to distant locations. Considering the loss of logistics, accommodation and labor costs, approximately 1 million TL was saved and efficient use of resources was ensured.
