Symphony Talent transforms employer brand experiences through talent marketing software and services. Symphony Talent acquired Hodes UK, a London- based, full- service creative services company, broadening its global footprint, and SmashFly Technologies, the inaugural recruitment marketing platform, in November 2019, to build on its depth of software capabilities. The company has built its own CRM, career site and programmatic advertising technology, including proprietary machine learning algorithms and analytics solutions. Its programmatic advertising solution won HRE Top Product in 2018.

In April 2019, Symphony Talent was named a Major Player by IDC in its Marketscape Vendor Assessment, followed by the launch of a conversational assistant (chatbot) solution and a proprietary data management system for true- path analytics reporting.

After the acquisition of SmashFly in November 2019, the joint engineering and product teams focused their efforts on rebuilding and integrating a singular talent marketing platform founded on the strengths of software between the two companies.

Within 8 months, Symphony Talent announced the reimagined SmashFlyX talent marketing platform at its own recruitment marketing conference, Transform, to more than 1,500 talent acquisition attendees virtually. No other technology in the industry combines CRM, career site and programmatic recruitment advertising in one platform, strengthened by a new, cohesive UX and UI. Written in a single codebase, talent acquisition teams can control and analyze their entire recruitment marketing strategy, from job advertising to referrals to talent network nurture and more.

More than 150 companies, including Ecolab, UCLA Health and Sky, are now utiliz ing SmashFlyX. The platform is ATS agnostic, integrating with more than a dozen of the most utiliz ed mid- sized to enterprise applicant tracking systems, including Workday and Taleo.

Compared to competitive technology, no other recruitment marketing platform combines the depth of CRM, career site and programmatic advertising capabilities in one platform. SmashFlyX also sets the standard in UX/UI, completely differentiated from any other HCM product in the market.

With proprietary machine learning, SmashFlyX innately automates tasks that already should be, like rebudgeting advertising campaigns that hit their goal; sending follow- up nurture based on engagement and behavior; and auto- pipelining and sourcing. Recruiters don’t need to decide to automate core tasks, they just already are, making teams more efficient from day one.

Teams can create, automate, and measure every type of campaign in one place: paid to owned, email to SMS, social media to banner and job advertising, to every type of talent audience (hourly, executive, campus, internal). The talent mobility module is fueled by internal career sites and pipelining, as well as a new referrals module founded on conversational engagement. The video interviewing module allows for video and audio assessments to candidates, not just applicants, and is stored to the contact record in the CRM, plus prompted by automation based on certain pipelines and behaviors.

The new interface is based on consumer UX tenets and customer testing; it’s setting the standard in HCM technology design. Recruiters, sourcers, hiring managers and talent marketers have personalized Dashboard templates that focus data and prompt what’s next with instant actions, driving daily adoption.
