Nomination Title: Achieving Dubai government paperless strategy by 2021

Achievement Essay:

Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) is following Dubai Paperless Strategy by 2021. IACAD Strategic criteria an efficient and happy work environment is covering two Strategic objectives:

1- Develop a leading, supportive technology environment and intelligent, innovative, secure and integrated information solutions.
2- A knowledge institution that supports innovation stimulates human capital and attracts talents.

To achieve the previous two strategic objectives human resources department team (HRD) in (IACAD) developed a project to transform smart services at the first quarter of 2018. As well, (HRD) partnership with Dubai Smart Government (DSG) to achieve its strategic objectives.

The project contains the following steps:

Another smart services project success indicator is the result of 2018 staff happiness survey, which held by Dubai Executive Office, IACAD achieved (85.63%) at the criteria of (Providing excellent electronic and intelligent systems and services for the management of personnel). The (HRD) team celebrated the achievement in December 2018 with DSG. In February 2019, (HRD) team held a human resources forum for (2) days, targeting all IACAD staff to improve their awareness about the new initiative of smart new services.

Achievement Summary:

-(HRD) team achievements are the following:
-Partnership with (DSG) saving time, effort and money achieving Dubai government paperless strategy by 2021.
-The first government department starting the paperless strategy application with DSG in 2018.
-Transform (30) services to smart services.
-Staff happiness result of the Human resources forum was (95%)
-Presenting a working paper about Smart Human Resources at the GCC 23rd Conference in 2019.
-Achieved (85.63%) at the criteria of (Providing excellent electronic and intelligent systems and services for the management of personnel) for 2018 staff happiness survey.
-Saving time, efforts, improve quality, and less mistakes.
-Decrease memos after applying the smart services to 44%
-Sharing smart services experience with local and GCC government entities such as knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, and Human rights at Saudi Arabia.
-Looking forward new initiatives that serve intelligent transformation strategies such as studies on future jobs and distance working.
