ACV Auctions the leading dealer-to-dealer online wholesale vehicle marketplace, allowing for the
buying and selling of used cars in quick 20-minute auctions. When compared with physical
auctions, ACV eliminates long days and costs to attend the auction, gives buyers access to a
much larger inventory to choose from at 30%-40% lower fees, and leads the industry with 99%
accurate reconditioning costs due to the industry’s most thorough condition reports (created via
physical inspection and proprietary technology). ACV’s success is due to the combination of its
own leading-edge technology, a commitment to trust and transparency in a cloudy business,
next-level customer service and hiring great people.

ACV has an unbelievably great culture. At ACV, employees enjoy an innovative, supportive and

ACV hires about 60 people/month, and provides a comprehensive training period and weekly calls

ACV encourages employees to commit to their work duties and to thier surrounding community
also. ACV has an Active Community Volunteers (A.C.V.) Committee, which has overseen a gift
drive for Oishei Children’s Hospital, a food drive for Buffalo City Mission and an ongoing partnership
with Meals on Wheels. ACV has done work with Jericho Road Ministries community project, the
SPCA, 716 Ministries – a community development organization in Buffalo – and various blood

Additional activities: donations to The Pink Pillow Project, gift drive for Oishei Children’s Hospital,
food drive for Buffalo City Mission., work with Jericho Road Ministries, SPCA , 716 Ministries, and
various blood drives. Will be at United Way’s 2019 Day of Caring.

Each market engages in its own community activities. ACV’s Mid-Atlantic region group regularly
participates in Earth Day cleanups and disaster relief. Following Hurricane Michael in Florida (2018),
the the Mid-Atlantic region group rented a box truck and drove down supplies (donated from
dealers) to help countless individuals and families in need.

ACV Auctions sponsors several events promoting technology, including “She Started IT," a free
event that encourages girls to become leaders in computing, tech and entrepreneurship.
ACV wants its employees to feel protected. Offers its employees employer-contributed health,
dental, vision and life insurance, 401(K), stock options and a generous number of vacation days.

employee appreciation celebrations and in-office professional massages.

In the Thomas R. Beecher Jr. Innovation Center in downtown Buffalo, ACV provides a fun and
collaborative working environment. The large, modern workspace is open to encourage
collaboration between employees and teams and does not feature any executive offices (C-suite
executives sit with everybody else). Employees can design their own space to feel comfortable.
Some workspaces are outfitted with standing desks and bean bag chairs. The kitchen is stocked
with unlimited coffee and fresh and healthy snacks and meals. Employees receive a monthly credit
from ACV Auctions to use toward the items. ACV knows its employees work hard, so the
company has fun. It created a space with a pool table and at one of their locations areas to play
video games. Employees can come to work dressed casually.
