Solution Provider Essay:
In the beginning of 2016, WorkStride launched its recognition platform. Previously known as CorporateRewards, the company rebranded and solidified their product as a SaaS solution in order to maximize recognition and bring engaging, configurable software to the forefront of the program. Since the launch of WorkStride, the company has re-assessed the idea behind the solution, starting with the question, “why does recognition work?” With this in mind, WorkStride was able to pinpoint the concepts behind recognition and employee engagement and channel those reasons when building a solid software platform.
Since their launch in 2016, WorkStride has brought almost 50 enterprise companies onto the recognition software solution. Today, WorkStride provides recognition and engagement services to over 1.5 million end users across the globe in multiple industries. From doctors and nurses, to construction workers and truckers, to electronics manufacturers and global communications companies, WorkStride provides quality service and software that improves the employee experience and company culture.
WorkStride has particular expertise in the healthcare vertical, and the effect on employee engagement and patient satisfaction using WorkStride’s recognition software is dramatic. In fact, WorkStride was the first to recognize the correlation between employee recognition and the patient experience. When WorkStride released their “Patient Portal,” they created the opportunity to include the patient in the recognition program—satisfied patients can nominate nurses, doctors, staff, or other eligible recipients for recognition awards. Employees who are fully engaged in their work treat patients with more consideration and attention, thus increasing the patient experience. Employees who receive patient-nominated awards then see exactly how they affect their patients’ experiences.
In the last few years, WorkStride has also worked on rolling out new features. They now release major product updates on a quarterly basis. Earlier this year, WorkStride rolled out a new homepage for their recognition solution. By providing a “social stream,” a format that is common on many major social media sites, users can easily see recognition awards, as well as ‘like’ and comment on messages. This stretches a single recognition message out for days, as employee engagement with the announcements increases the echo of recognition.
Organizations using WorkStride have the ability to offer an expansive array of rewards that they know will resonate with their employee base, from retail gift cards, to travel and experiences, to corporate items or perks. In addition, with the mobile accessibility of the platform, employees are free to redeem their rewards at any time, from anywhere.
Since 2016, WorkStride has fostered the relationship with every customer by increasing the commitment to collaboration in order to ensure a successful recognition program. In addition to a project manager, developers, and creative teams, a dedicated relationship manager is now assigned to each customer. They track key performance indicators and provide assistance as a customer advocate, information on product releases, and industry updates. The relationship manager meets with each customer on a quarterly basis in order to stay on track and keep recognition programs fresh, engaging, and effective.
WorkStride’s business and recognition platform have evolved dramatically since the beginning of 2016. Their customer-centric approach to implementation, project management, and consultation has benefited companies ranging in size from just 500 employees to those in the Fortune 500.
WorkStride continues to dedicate itself to providing the highest-quality recognition and employee engagement platform available on the market.
