Endurance knows the importance of creating an environment where people feel laid-back and comfortable. The company is consistently able to attract top notch talent and maintain low turnover rate.
Endurance’s family grew by 102% by the end of 2016. The growth was due to last year’s acquisition of a vehicle service contract company in Plano, TX. As a result, Endurance has made the 2017 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America for the 3rd time and has debuted on the 2016 Crain’s Fast 50 List of the fastest growing companies in the Chicagoland area.
In September of 2016, Endurance celebrated its 10-year anniversary which was held at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL. All employees of Endurance were invited to board at party shuttle that whisked employees to the suburbs for a catered NASCAR event and team build. Employees celebrated the years of personal and professional growth with Endurance at this family-friendly event!
In 2016 Endurance was named a finalist one of the “Top Workplaces in the Chicagoland Area” by the Chicago Tribune. This was the second year that Endurance had participated in the selection process, after making the list in the previous year. Endurance is filled with excitement at the possibility ranking two years in a row as the final list yet to be announced. In last year’s survey, employees at Endurance note that flexibility, atmosphere, and management motivation are the top contributing factors that determined the high scores.
This year Jordan Batt, President and Paul Chernawsky, CEO at Endurance won the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in the Midwest, the world’s most prestigious business awards program for entrepreneurs, chosen from an independent panel of judges. This award program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, job creation, market performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Batt and Chernawsky created a work environment where employees have the freedom to speak their mind and assist in decision-making. Both men are deeply involved in their employees’ success not only professionally but also personally and have a noticeable “open door policy,” which allows employees to bring things to their attention at any time during the day.
With this continued success, in addition to the annual summer and winter celebrations, Endurance has begun team outings where various members of our staff are invited out for a night of dinner, drinks, and fun all on Endurance’s dime. This was a way for management to thank the employees for their hard work, and honor the achievements from across every department.
