Stella currently serves as the Managing Director at HRCap, Inc., the largest Asian Global Executive Search & Total HR Solutions Provider in the United States. She founded and currently leads the Executive Search Practice, specializing in Executive-level and Critical Hire Placements for SMB and Fortune 500 clients. She is also responsible for HRCap's enterprise-wide Digital Transformation and Global Rebranding, managing over 15 agile data-driven strategy, process optimization, and employee engagement projects. Prior to HRCap, Stella specialized in Workforce Management and Talent Analytics at the Professional Development Center of Excellence at IBM Headquarters, providing data-driven talent strategies for enterprise-wide employee engagement, and positioning IBM for greater business growth. Formerly, Stella was a Senior Strategy & Analytics Consultant at IBM Global Business Services, focused on organizational change strategy and global tech implementation projects for IBM internal stakeholders and external clients.
Stella increases value through the unique intersection of technology, talent, and transformation. Her expertise lies in identifying capability gaps and underlying opportunities to empower greater potential in individuals, organizations, and communities. She takes a data-driven macro-view of the labor economy to aid HR decision making for corporations, while approaching talent issues from the social-organizational micro-view. She has a track record of successfully driving end-to-end projects at Fortune 500s and sustainably scaling up start-ups. Stella is known for her commitment to bridging communities by building organizations from the ground up to create greater value, synergy, and social impact. She passionately enables cultural and generational diversity by driving acclimation and awareness. She serves leadership roles on advisory boards and non-profit associations, and has been appointed to speak at government, professional associations, and academic institutions to share her thought leadership in labor markets, HR strategy, and recruiting trends. Stella is as an Industry Guest Lecturer at Stony Brook University, and an Advisory Council Member at Seton Hall University Stillman School of Business for the Transformative Leadership Program.
Stella holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Princeton University and a Master’s degree in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. She is a certified SPHR® (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and has completed Executive Programs in Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania and HR Management at Villanova University. In her spare time, Stella actively volunteers and gives back through musical engagements at her church. She is passionate about continuous professional development and transformative learning. She also enjoys taking on new languages to deeply engage with other cultural backgrounds and to travel the world again.
