Q: What are the Stevie Awards?
A: The Stevie Awards are the world's premier business awards.  The mission of the Stevie Awards is to recognize and generate public awareness of excellence in the workplace.

Q: How many different Stevie Awards competitions are there?
A: There are currently nine Stevie Awards competitions: The American Business Awards®, The International Business Awards®, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, the German Stevie Awards, the Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards, the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service, the Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence, and the Stevie Awards for Great Employers.
   The American Business Awards are open to all organizations and individuals with operations in the U.S.A.
   The International Business Awards are open to all organizations and individuals worldwide.
   The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are open to all organizations and individuals worldwide.
   The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are open to all organizations in the 29 nations of the Asia-Pacific region.
   The German Stevie Awards are open to all organizations operating in Germany.

A: The Stevie Awards for Great Employers are an awards program produced by the Stevie Awards. The mission of these awards is to recognize the world's best organizations to work for, and the individuals, teams, achievements, new products and services, and suppliers that drive them.

A: The awards are produced by Stevie Awards, Inc., a private company that stages the nine annual Stevie Awards competitions.

Q: What are the categories of the Stevie Awards for Great Employers?
A: There are more than 100 categories, recognizing the world's best organizations to work for in 31 industry categories, HR professionals and teams, achievements related to great workplaces, and the new products, services, and suppliers that help to create and drive great employers. Q: What do winners receive?
A: Gold Stevie® Award winners (the top-scoring qualifying entry in each category) receive a Gold Stevie Award, a magnificent trophy designed by the same company that makes the Oscars. Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners receive Silver or Bronze medals, depending on their score in final judging, and will have the option to purchase Silver or Bronze Stevie Award trophies.   The top winner overall (total number of points conferred by Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie wins) and the highest-scoring nomination receive Grand Stevie Award trophies.

Q: What are the benefits of submitting entries?
A: The employee-relations benefits can be significant. When you submit entries, you're telling your employees that you recognize and appreciate their accomplishments and believe that their achievements are worthy of recognition.
  When Stevie winners are announced you'll have access to all available written comments from the judges about your entries. These comments may help you to improve how you tell your organization's story, and may offer priceless business advice.
   The benefits of becoming a Stevie winner will also be significant. Stevie winners can expect to receive a tremendous amount of publicity.

Q: What sort of publicity can Stevie Award winners expect to receive?
A: The awards ceremonies will be videotaped and photographed, and winners will have access to these resources to help them celebrate their wins and generate awareness of their achievement. All Stevie winners will have access to tools such as winner logos and press release templates that they may use to publicize their wins to the press and their employees, customers, friends and followers.

Q: Who can be nominated?
A: Any for-profit or non-profit organization or individual anywhere in the world can be nominated.

Q: Who can submit entries for consideration?
A: Any person, group, or organization may submit entries.

Q: Does a company have to be publicly held to be able to submit entries?
A: No, any for-profit or non-profit organization or individual can submit entries.

Q: When is the entry deadline?
A: The early-bird deadline, with discounted entry fees, is April 24, 2024. The final entry deadline is May 22. Late entries will be accepted through June 26 with payment of a $55/entry late fee.

Q: Are there entry fees?
A: Early-bird entry fees are $275 per entry in the categories that recognize the achievements of individuals (categories C01 and C02; other categories for individuals are now free to enter) and $500 per entry in the categories that recognize achievements, entire organizations, teams and departments, and new products and services.  Entry fees will rise $45/entry on April 25. Add a $55 late fee for entries submitted after May 22.

Q: Are there any fees associated with being a Stevie Award entrant outside of entry fees?
A: No, after paying entry fees, there are no further requirements for winners. All winners have access to winner logos, press release templates, and more. Paying for shipping for your Stevie Awards and attending the ceremony are optional.

Q: Where can I see examples of entries that other companies have submitted?
A: We suggest you read the 2023 Gold Stevie-Award winning nominations. They're great examples of nominations that the judges rated highly. Begin here.

Q: Are entry forms kept confidential?
A: Yes. The organizers ensure that only authorized judges will review entries, and that information about nominees is not released to anyone else without prior approval.  Gold Stevie Award-winning entries will be published on the web site, but winners will first have an opportunity to redact any confidential or non-public information from their entries.

Q: Who are the judges?
A: More than 100 professionals around the world will comprise several blue-ribbon juries that will be chaired by some of last year's Gold Stevie Award winners. Their average ratings will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners. (Winners in the Employer of the Year categories will be determined by a combination of peer judging and public votes.)  See 2023 judging committees here.

Q: Will I be able to see the judges' comments on my entries?
A: Yes. Judges' anonymous comments will be available in entrants' entry-submission accounts when Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements are announced.

Q: How can I apply to become a judge?
A: To complete the application to participate in the juding process, click here. If your application is accepted you will be able to participate at your convenience online.  You can still be a judge and submit entries - you won't be assigned categories in which you're an entrant.

Q: When will the awards ceremony take place?
A: The 2024 awards ceremony will be held on September 16 in New York City.

Q: What will it cost to attend the awards dinner?
A: Pricing will be announced when winners are announced in August.

Q: Are Stevie winners required to attend the awards ceremony?
A: No, attending the ceremony is optional, but is a great opportunity to accept your awards on stage in front of business peers and the Stevie Awards live-broadcast audience, take photos on the red carpet, and give an acceptance speech that is filmed by professional videographers.

Q: How many Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners will there be?
A: The number of winners will be determined by the number and quality of entries submitted. All nominations that receive an average score of 7.75 / 10 from the judges will qualify to be winners. The highest-scoring qualifying entry in a category will be named the Gold Stevie winner. Other qualifying entries will receive Silver or Bronze Stevie recognition based on their final average scores. Q: Will winners receive an award?
A: Yes, all qualifying entries will be conferred Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie recognition. The placements will be announced in August. Winners are not required to attend the awards banquet or receive their trophy in order to retain their status as a Stevie winner.

Gold Stevie Award winners will receive a Gold Stevie Award trophy. Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will receive a Silver or Bronze medal, and have the option to purchase their Silver or Bronze Stevie Award trophy in the Stevie Awards Store. Winners who attend the optional awards ceremony will receive all of their awards there. Winners who are unable to attend have the option to pay a shipping fee to receive their award(s) at their home or office.

All trophy and medal orders are verified by the Stevie Awards to ensure that only winning organizations are purchasing awards.

Q: Will honorees be able to purchase duplicate awards?
A: Yes. Gold Stevie winners will receive a Gold Stevie trophy if they attend the award ceremony or pay the shipping fee, and will have the opportunity to purchase duplicate trophies. Silver and Bronze Stevie winners will receive a Silver or Bronze medal, and will have the option to purchase a Silver or Bronze Stevie trophy in the Stevie Awards store - and/or additional medals. All honorees will also have the option to purchase commemorative wall plaques, certificates, lapel pins, and more.

All trophy and medal orders are verified by the Stevie Awards to ensure that only winning organizations can purchase awards.
